🐾 Now serving Westchester dogs

Real food.
Real love.
Delivered.

Think of it as takeout — but for your dog.

Woof Wagon makes fresh, whole-food meals for dogs using real butcher-sourced meats, carefully measured organ meats, and a simple base of broccoli, carrots, and sweet potato. No fillers. No preservatives. No mystery ingredients.

We know there are so many good ingredients dogs can enjoy, but we start simple on purpose. Dogs have real stomachs, and fresh food should be introduced slowly — even if your dog already eats fresh food from another brand — because every recipe, protein, fiber level, and fat level is different.

You order directly from Woof Wagon, we prepare your trays fresh, and we deliver them to your door. You can serve fresh, refrigerate, or freeze at home. If you want to try Woof Wagon first, frozen 16 oz trays are available at Castle Meat Co. in Carmel.

Inspired by Hudson

The big guy behind the love.

Woof Wagon started with a dog mom who wanted better for her own dogs. Hudson is part of the heart behind the brand — the reason we keep the food simple, introduce ingredients slowly, and care about what goes into every tray.

Fresh medleys, sold by the 16 oz tray.

Our standard meals keep the base simple: real meat, sweet potato, carrots, broccoli, a small amount of rice, and carefully measured organ meats. We do not load the food with oils or unnecessary extras. We would rather start simple, see how your dog does, and add thoughtfully when it makes sense.

To place an order, please email us at [email protected] or call/text 914-245-1030. Woof Wagon meals are made fresh and delivered to your door. If you would like to try Woof Wagon before placing a full order, stop by Castle Meat Co. at 1946 US-6, Carmel, NY 10512 to pick up a frozen 16 oz tray.

By-request proteins, add-ons & weekly availability

Turkey, pork, lamb, fish, beef heart, and other butcher options may be available by request. Because we source directly from local butchers, pricing and availability can change. For example, lamb may be available one week, but if the butcher price is $7.99/lb, the custom order price will reflect that.

Sardines packed in water are sold separately as a simple add-on/treat option when available. We keep them separate so you can choose them intentionally instead of having every tray overloaded with rich extras.

Check @woofwagonstore on Instagram for weekly food options, available proteins, updates, and fresh order reminders.

How much should I order?

A helpful starting point for many adult dogs is about ½ oz of food per pound of body weight per day, split into 1–3 meals. This is only a starting estimate and may change based on age, activity, metabolism, appetite, weight goals, and how Woof Wagon is being used.

Real Woof Wagon example

Meet Tank

Tank is an 11 lb, 2-year-old Shih Tzu and one of our first Woof Wagon pups. He eats Woof Wagon as his full meal.

Tank’s current amount: about 5.4 oz per day, split into meals.

Tank’s monthly order: 10 total 16 oz trays — usually a 50/50 mix of Chicken Medley and Beef Medley.

Introduce fresh food slowly — even if your dog already eats fresh.

Fresh food is different from brand to brand. A dog may tolerate one fresh food and still need a slow introduction to another because the proteins, organ meats, vegetables, fiber, fat, and moisture are not the same. Even excellent whole-food ingredients can cause loose stool, gas, or bloating if introduced too quickly, fed in large amounts, or if your dog has a sensitivity.

Start with a small amount, watch your dog’s stool, comfort, appetite, and energy, and increase gradually. Simple first. Then we can add.

How to Store & Serve Woof Wagon Meals

Woof Wagon meals are cooked fresh and delivered ready to refrigerate or freeze.

For best freshness, keep only what your dog will eat within the next 3 days in the refrigerator. Freeze the rest until needed.

Once thawed, use within 3 days.

For best results, gently warm your dog’s meal on the stovetop over low heat. Serve warm, not hot.

We do not recommend microwaving as the main warming method. Microwaves can heat unevenly and create hot spots, and gentle stovetop warming gives you better control.

If you do use a microwave, warm in short intervals, stir very well, and always check the temperature before serving.

Our meal containers are freezer safe. Although the containers may be listed as microwaveable by the manufacturer, we recommend transferring food to a pot or pet-safe dish before warming.

You are not ordering from a factory.

Woof Wagon was created for dog parents who want to give their fur babies real food, but do not always have the time, tools, or confidence to cook it themselves. We are not trying to be a giant pet food factory. We make fresh, local meals with recognizable ingredients, thoughtful preparation, and real care behind every tray.

Made with ingredients you can recognize — and yes, technically you could eat it too, if liver is your thing.

Real food benefits, explained honestly.

We want clients to understand the good and the possible “too much, too fast” side of real food. Whole ingredients can support energy, coat condition, digestion, and variety, but dogs still need a slow transition. Even if your dog already eats another fresh-food brand, Woof Wagon should be introduced gradually because every recipe has a different protein, fat level, fiber level, moisture level, and organ-meat balance.

We do not load meals with added oils, heavy extras, or unnecessary fillers. We start with a simple base, watch how the dog does, and then add variety thoughtfully when it makes sense.

Chicken

Potential benefits: Chicken is the base of our Chicken Medley. It is a familiar, lean protein that helps support muscle maintenance, daily energy, and an easier starting point for many dogs.

Introduce slowly: Any new protein can cause loose stool or stomach upset if introduced suddenly. Dogs with poultry sensitivities may need a different protein.

Chicken Gizzards & Hearts

Included in Chicken Medley: Gizzards and hearts are muscular organ meats, closer to muscle meat than liver. They add protein, texture, naturally occurring B vitamins, minerals, and nutrient variety without turning the bowl into a science project.

Introduce slowly: These are richer than plain chicken breast. New textures and organ-style ingredients should be introduced gradually, especially for dogs coming from kibble or highly processed food.

Chicken Liver

Included in Chicken Medley: Chicken liver is nutrient-dense and may naturally provide vitamin A, B vitamins, iron, copper, and other trace minerals. It gives the meal nutrition and flavor, but only in a small measured amount.

Measured only: Liver is powerful. More is not better. Too much liver can be too rich and can throw the meal off balance.

Beef

Potential benefits: Beef is the base of our Beef Medley. It is heartier than chicken and naturally provides protein, fat, iron, zinc, and B vitamins. The natural cooked juices add flavor and healthy fats that may help support skin and coat condition.

Introduce slowly: Beef is richer than chicken for many dogs. Richer foods can be wonderful, but too much too fast may cause loose stool, gas, or stomach upset.

Beef Liver

Included in Beef Medley: Beef liver is different from chicken liver and brings its own nutrient profile, including naturally occurring iron, copper, vitamin A, and B vitamins. It gives Beef Medley a nutrient-rich boost and a flavor many dogs love.

Measured only: Beef liver is strong and rich. We include it thoughtfully in a small amount, not heavily.

Beef Heart

By request: Beef heart is nutritionally closer to muscle meat than liver. It can add protein, minerals, and variety, and can be a great option when a dog does well with beef.

Availability note: Beef heart is not standard in Beef Medley because of cost and availability, but we can price it as a custom addition when available.

Turkey

Potential benefits: Turkey is a useful by-request protein when available. Lean turkey can be a lighter option than beef and may help add variety for dogs who tolerate poultry well.

Watch the fat: Turkey cuts and grinds vary. Richer turkey blends can be heavier than expected and may cause loose stool if introduced too quickly.

Pork

Potential benefits: Pork can be a strong by-request option when the right cut is used. Pork shoulder/Boston butt is a good workhorse because it has a useful meat-to-fat balance and cooks well. Pork loin is leaner and can be a premium/lower-fat option. Pork heart can be added in moderation and counts more like muscle meat nutritionally.

Measured rich foods: Pork can be very digestible for some dogs, but fattier cuts and pork liver should be introduced slowly. Pork liver is rich and strong-flavored, so it should stay in a controlled ratio.

Lamb

Potential benefits: Lamb is a premium by-request protein when available. It may be useful for variety and for some dogs who do not tolerate more common proteins.

Richer protein: Lamb can be fatty and flavorful. Start small because it may cause loose stool if introduced too quickly, and pricing changes with butcher cost.

Fish & Sardines

Potential benefits: Fish may be available by request. Plain sardines packed in water are sold separately and can add flavor plus omega-style fats that may help support healthy skin and coat.

Use thoughtfully: Fish and sardines can be rich and strong-smelling. Too much can upset digestion, so we keep them separate and recommend introducing slowly.

Sweet Potato

Used in our base meals: Sweet potato is a gentle carbohydrate source with fiber, beta-carotene, and natural energy. It helps make the meal satisfying without needing a complicated vegetable mix.

Moderation: Too much sweet potato can soften stool because it adds fiber and carbohydrate.

Carrots

Used in our base meals: Carrots are simple, low-fat, and familiar. They provide fiber and beta-carotene, which the body can use to make vitamin A. Vitamin A supports normal vision, immune function, and overall health, but carrots are not a cure-all or a replacement for veterinary care.

Moderation: Large amounts of any fibrous vegetable can change stool. We use carrots thoughtfully, not as filler.

Broccoli

Used in our base meals: Broccoli provides fiber, vitamin-style nutrients, and natural plant compounds found in cruciferous vegetables. It is one of those “good, but not too much” foods, which is exactly why we use it in thoughtful amounts.

Introduce slowly: Broccoli can cause gas, bloating, or stomach upset in some dogs when fed too much or too fast.

Rice

Used in small amounts: Rice can make the tray gentler, more familiar, and easier for many dogs to transition to. It also helps keep the base consistent instead of throwing too many new vegetables at the stomach all at once.

Purpose matters: Rice changes the carbohydrate profile. We use it intentionally, not as cheap filler.

Pumpkin

Custom add-in: Pumpkin can provide fiber and moisture and is often requested for dogs who need extra digestive support.

Moderation: Helpful does not mean unlimited. Too much fiber can also change stool, so pumpkin should be added with a plan.

Blueberries

Custom add-in: Blueberries can add antioxidants, fiber, and natural color. They are best as a thoughtful accent, not the base of a meal.

Moderation: Fruit adds natural sugar and fiber. Small amounts are best, especially for dogs with sensitive stomachs.

Our philosophy: Simple first. Watch the dog. Adjust slowly. Fresh food should be thoughtful, not chaotic. We explain the benefits and the possible stomach changes so clients can choose wisely and tell us what their dog needs.

Eggshell calcium, sold separately.

Woof Wagon eggshell calcium powder is sold separately and is not automatically added to every tray. It is made from cleaned, cooked, and finely ground eggshells and can be a helpful calcium source for dog parents adding fresh or home-cooked food.

Calcium matters because meat is naturally higher in phosphorus. Eggshell can help support a better calcium-to-phosphorus balance when used correctly, but the amount depends on the dog, the diet, and how much fresh food is being fed.

Made locally, like it matters.

Woof Wagon started with love, worry, and the kind of dog that changes your life. After my Great Dane, Sebastian, was diagnosed with bone cancer, I started looking at food differently — not as a trend, but as one more way to show up for the dogs we love.

Hudson carries that story forward. He is the heart behind the standards, the reason we care so much about what goes into the bowl, and the reminder that dog food should feel personal — not factory-made.

Woof Wagon was created for dog parents who want to give their fur babies real food, but do not always have the time, tools, or confidence to cook fresh meals themselves.

Recognizable ingredients. Local preparation. Real care. That is the difference we are building.
